If you've read some of my previous posts, you'd know that my father-in-law was diagnosed with Grade IV Glioblastoma in September 2015. He passed away June 6, 2016 at the age of 61 after fighting for 8 months and 30 days. Below is the beautiful obituary that my husband wrote.
This spring and summer has been so terribly painful. I won't bore you with the details, but I would like to express my personal feelings on insurance and hospice care. They are horrible. Big shock, right?
We are currently trying to pick up the broken pieces of our lives, grieve and work towards the future. It's really hard and it doesn't seem like our lives will ever be normal again.
Timothy immediately threw himself back into work with the church and we haven't had any sort of break. We plan to take a little vacation in a couple weeks. I hope we are able to get some rest and relaxation. #goalsbelow
